My Approach as a Aunt Amanda

I bring Auntie Energy everywhere I go.  I'm not going to scold you like a mother, judge you like a sister or enable you like some friends do.  You can call me in the middle of the night but I'm also going to remind you when its time to make a choice and get moving.
First as foremost, I stand strong in my conviction that all families deserve free and informed consent and medical freedom without coercion, shame or fear tactics.   You deserve to know all of the options that are available to you.  This includes physiological birth, which is different from vaginal or natural birth.  Check out my blog post further explaining!

I promise to help you and your family find all of the answers to your questions.  It can be overwhelming navigating through pregnancy, childbirth, the postpartum season and early parenting.  Finding the truth that is unbiased and non-shaming often means going within.  Your instincts, especially as a woman and a mother are most often, the right ones.  I will help teach you to ask yourself and others the right questions to form your own convictions.​
