I had the pleasure of having Amanda as a birth doula for both of the births of my children. When I became pregnant with my second, there wasn’t even a question between my husband and I about whether we would want Amanda there. Not only is Amanda incredibly knowledgeable, kind, friendly and exceptionally empathetic, she was an incredible partner for my husband. Her manner is so supportive and she worked hard to empower me every step of the pregnancy and birthing journey. She is such an important part of the births of my children. She never once over-stepped or left me hanging. She knew what was needed every minute without ever needing to be asked. If you are considering having Amanda as part of your team for what is undoubtedly a significant and emotional time in your life, do it. She enriched the experience for our family and I am thankful for her every day.
